Jungle pepper is a special type of pepper that grows on large trees and is botanically unrelated to the well-known shrub pepper. In the southern regions of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, it is traditionally used both as a spice and in herbal medicine. It is characterized by its delicate lemon note, high content of bitter substances, and complete absence of spiciness. Even small amounts are enough to give dishes an extraordinary aromatic depth.

    • Ingredients

95% jungle pepper (fermented), 5% honey. Natural, without additives.

    • Recommended consumption

For seasoning and gourmet use, 3 to a maximum of 5 grains are sufficient. For other applications, up to 20 grains can be well chewed and taken throughout the day or all at once. Rule of thumb: from 45kg body weight, 1 grain per kg/day. For external use in joint complaints, the pepper can be crushed and applied as a warm compress to the affected joint.

    • Use

Jungle pepper is traditionally valued for its high content of bitter substances. In regional herbal medicine, it is considered supportive for digestion, metabolism, and general well-being. Its mild, non-spicy aroma makes it especially well-tolerated and versatile in use.

    • Extension

Jungle pepper grows on large trees in the tropical forest regions of Southeast Asia. The harvest is done traditionally and with great care to preserve the quality, aroma, and natural properties of the peppercorns.
